Print Management

‘Coz print isnae dead!

There’s nothing quite like the smell of freshly printed flyers.

As a person who loves to make stuff with their hands (knitter for going on ten years now) I’m a big fan of the printed word.

And picture. And folder, flyer, magazine, brochure, poster. And business card, Christmas card, loyalty card, appointment card and postcard.

You catch my drift.

The print partners I work with are based Glasgow or parts of the UK, which means a smaller carbon footprint. They’re also enrolled in programmes like the Woodlands Trust Carbon Capture Scheme, meaning our print is being handled sustainably.

I know my CMYK from my RGB.

Print can still be a bit of a pain if you’re not used to it. Setting up artwork properly, converting it to CMYK, dealing with production - it’s just a bunch more things on your to-do list.

That’s where I can step in. I can liaise with the printers and get the artwork prepped and ready for print, without breaking a sweat. I can recommend materials and paper stocks, and know where you can make small adjustments to save you a bit of cash.

All while you sit back and have a cuppa. What’s not to like?

Don’t underestimate the power of print

This is a picture of me and my last boss on my last week of full time employment at The Print Box in Glasgow. The poster was my graphic ‘swan song’ before heading out into self-employed life.

Want to talk it through first?
I offer free 30-minute consultations where you can ask me anything you like about the process, the results or what my favourite paper stock is (it was a 100% recycled range called Cyclus but sadly they don’t make it anymore).
